Dr. MINAKSHI CHAUHAN

Abstract

Chetan Bhagat is one of the most popular Indian writers of his generation. His novels are known for their relatable characters, engaging storylines, and social commentary. Bhagat's female characters are no exception. They are complex, well-developed individuals who challenge traditional gender roles and stereotypes.

In this article, we will explore the interpretation of female characters in Chetan Bhagat's novels. We will examine how Bhagat portrays his female characters, the challenges they face, and how they overcome them. We will also discuss the feminist themes that Bhagat explores through his female characters.

Bhagat's female characters are typically intelligent, independent, and ambitious. They are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in, even if it means going against the grain. Bhagat's female characters are also often flawed and relatable. They make mistakes, but they learn from them and grow stronger.
