Yabancı Dil Öğreniminde Kaygı: Bir Literatür Özeti

Abstract


Yapılan araştırmaların sonuçları, kaygının yabancı dil öğrenimi üzerinde önemli etkilere sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışma, yabancı dil öğreniminde kaygı konusunda yapılmış çalışmaların bir sentezini sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaca dayanarak, yapılmış olan çalışmalar; kaygı türlerinin belirlenmesi, kaygının nedenleri, kaygının yabancı dil öğrenimi üzerindeki etkileri, kaygı ile başetme yolları ve Türkiye’de yapılan çalışmalar başlıkları altında gruplandırılarak kronolojik bir sıra ile özetlenmiştir. Çalışmanın; öğretmenler, öğrenciler, öğretmen yetiştiriciler gibi hedef grupların kaygı konusunda farkındalık düzeylerini artırmalarına ve araştırma etkinliklerine katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
